RETRO REVIVAL

This season has seen a wonderful revival and revamp of the retro theme, with many different fabric companies having a retro collection.  It's great to see vibrant mixes of colour, geometric and abstract prints and some gorgeous textures in these collections. Furniture companies such as Dwell have also added some modern/retro pieces to their portfolio.

Prestigious Textiles released Delamere, a collection of cotton prints in a beautiful range of colours. These juicy, citrus colours are my favourite. Lime green and tangerine, fresh, crisp colours and fun designs. 

The deightful Delamere collection is 100% cotton, available in several colourways and the retail price is around £14 per metre, so they a great value too.

The Retro look has had several revivals over the years.  I think it's safe to say, it never really went away - it just changed it's form slightly over the years, moved with the times and is always ready to jump back into action - all glossy plastic, bubble shapes and funky colours, a splash of colour to wake up our safe, neutral colour schemes.
